Project Description

We had an interesting project on the east of the Algarve for a small off grid family on a large piece of land.  They required a simple yet stable solar system to power their requirements.

The goal was to install a 7.2kw system with a solid 20kW pylontech battery backup. We had an excellent choice of locations for the 2 sets of solar panels high up in the hills.

The system was primarily used to provide power to the family. We also installed a solar water pump that irrigated the biological vegetable gardens.

The system runs totally autonomously and without problems. There has been cost huge savings compared to the previous solution – a petrol generator and water pump.  Furthermore, the environment has become more ecological and sustainable.
